Weclome.
Still Game fan, see above greeting.
Mid-forties, tired, optimistic. Been blogging thirteen-years and I have decided to archive the old one. It'll still be available to read once I've worked that out. It was probably time I stopped wittering about nonsense and changed my direction.
This is a new blog I'm writing to write down my thoughts and feelings in the hope that they will help other people in various ways. It might be that they someone reads it and thinks they are feeling the same way and feel less alone, or that they just understand what it going on with them or someone else.
I don't have inhibitions about sharing my experiences if it helps others. The comments on all posts are open so that people can comment and share their own experiences or even ask me about mine. I will cover various topics.
I'm in my mid-forties, I've had one career in care/nursing, left it and I am embarking on another mental health/psychology. I'm currently working with a mental health charity finding its feet again after the lockdowns. I'm doing a degree in psychology and have a big interest in forensic psychology.
I hope to get some new pages up soon with links to places that can help. I am in Edinburgh and will start with local links but if you have ones that can help let me know.
Gemma 😊
